P-Star Study Guide Description
This P-Star Study Guide app is designed to ensure that student pilots have the necessary knowledge in areas such as air regulations, navigation, meteorology, and general aviation. The app consists of 185 multiple-choice questions distributed across the following 14 topics: Collision Avoidance, Visual Signals, Communications, Aerodromes, Equipment, Pilot Responsibilities, Wake Turbulence, Aeromedical, Flight Plans & Itineraries, Clearances & Instructions, Aircraft Operations, General Airspace Regulations, Controlled Airspace, and Aviation Occurrences.
Users can select a topic from the Practice Categories page, then go through each question in the category, selecting a response and being automatically presented with the next question. Upon completing a category, the user is presented with a summary page indicating how many of their responses were correct, how many were incorrect, and their percentage of correct responses. At the bottom of the summary page are three links: Review, which allows the user to go through each question to see the correct response; Retake, which resets the score and takes the user back to the first question in the category; and Topics, which returns the user to the Practice Categories page and displays a green check mark beside the category, indicating that it has been attempted.
Note: Each of the question and review screens displays an Acronyms link that allows the user to reference descriptions for acronyms or abbreviations.

YES, an internet connection is required to access the P-Star Study Guide APP.
- Are my responses collected or used for any purpose?
No, your specific responses are not collected are used by RFK Digital Design or any other party.
- Are the questions presented in the P-Star Study Guide up to date with Transport Canada updates?
Yes, Transport Canada P-Star questions are updated as changes to their exams occur.
- Where is my progress displayed?
Your progress is displayed on the summary screen for each category upon completing that category.
- How is my progress displayed?
Your progress is displayed as the number of correct responses, incorrect responses and the percentage of correct responses.
- Can I review the questions in each category?
Yes, you can select the REVIEW button at the bottom of each summary page to see the correct response for each question.

How to use the P-Star Study Guide
The P-Star Study Guide consists of 185 multiple choice questions, each having four responses to choose from. Questions are presented under fourteen categories that will be covered in the Transport Canada P-Star exam which will consist of 50 questions from the pool of 185 questions.
Once logged into the P-Star Study Guide users are presented with the TOPICS page, displaying the fourteen categories covered in the study guide. Users may select a category to begin answering the questions. As each response is selected the next question will be presented until reaching the summary page. Note: A link to ACRONYMS is included on each question/review screen.
The SUMMARY screen will display the number of correct/incorrect responses as well as the percentage correct. From this screen the user can choose to REVIEW the correct answers, RETAKE the category or return to the TOPICS screen. Retaking the category will reset the summary results and all response results can be reset from the TOPICS screen.
Once all categories have been attempted and display a green checkmark to the right of the category on the TOPICS screen a REVIEW button is displayed allowing the user to review the correct answers to the questions in each category.
